How do you test a 9-volt battery?
I was out with Klahdia enjoying a belated birthday lunch when Jason texts me that the BMW won’t start. It was a Monday which is his day off, so there wasn’t much of a rush, however, he tends to get a little anxious with car issues, so we finished up and headed home so he could jump start the car.
He got is started and was able to manage the rest of the week on the current battery, however, we knew it needed to be replaced. The following Sunday we headed to O’Reily’s to purchase a new battery. He was able to switch it out pretty easily in the parking lot and we were on our way.
Several hours later, we were on our way to play pool. For some reason or another, he mentioned that he needed to wash his hands because they still tasted like a battery. What?!
“How do you know what a battery tastes like?” I asked.
He responded, “Haven’t you ever stuck a 9-volt battery on your tongue to see if it was still good?”
“No! I’d put it in something requiring a 9-volt battery or use a voltage meter!!”
Stupid things boys do…..
